I enjoyed the competitive yet collaborative environment that challenged me more than just academically. There are also many routes within business that students can take in the future using the networks they made during their studies.What is the biggest lesson you gained from studying business? The biggest lesson I l earned by studying business is effective time management skills. Also, I feel confident in my presentation and professional writing skills along with a good understanding of how businesses operate in the real world.Where would you like to work after graduation? I would like to work for PwC as a Core Assurance Associate. I believe that this field of work will provide me with invaluable experience and opportunities in the future.What are your long-term professional goals? My long term professional goal is to educate women and children in underdeveloped countries about financial literacy and teach the importance of being aware of their financial situations and different opportunities they may have in their current state.â€Å"I knew I wanted to major in business when†¦I took an accounting class in high school and found myself feeling more and more passionate about the topic day after day.†â€Å"If I didn’t major in business†¦I would be an artist. I have a st rong passion for art and often express myself through it.†â€Å"Before I entered business school†¦I wish I had known that it is okay to fail as long as you get back up one more time.†What was the happiest moment of your life? The happiest moment of my life was when I tutored English to North Korean Refugees. I listened to their stories and life as a refugee as well as their hopes and dreams in the future. I felt very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to study at the University of Denver as well as for my family for being very supportive of my decisions. I realized that not everyone is provided with the same opportunity and that gave me motivation to start helping women and children live out their potentials.Which academic, extracurricular or personal achievement are you most proud of? I am most proud of receiving the Pioneer Award, one of the most prestigious awards at the University of Denver. It is a recognition from my community that gave me hope and reassurance that I was going the right direction regarding people around me and my future.What animal would you choose to represent your professional brand? I would choose a lion to represent my personal brand because I take pride in my work and I strive to be just in any given situation.Who would you most want to thank for your success? I would like to thank my parents for all my successes. They have been the backbone of everything I have achieved thus far and beyond. I would not be here today without their unconditional love and support. They have humbled me in times of successes and given me strength in times of need.What would you like your business school peers to say about you after you graduate from this program? My hobbies include playing golf, reading books, and traveling. I have visited 7 different countries and would like to visit each country at least once in my lifetime.What made Batsukh such an invaluable addition to the Class of 2017?â€Å"I first met Solongo informally given her involvement with Beta Alpha Psi and was able to get to know her better while she was a student in my Auditing Course. Initially, Solongo stood out given her involvement with Beta Alpha Psi and her role in leading a team to compete and win on both a regional and national level against other universities in the Organization’s annual Best Practice competition. Solongo’s outstanding performance in my course mirrored her other accomplishments as evidenced by her outstanding academic record, leadership roles, and service to the community. Given these accomplishments, it is very appropriate that Solongo was awarded the Pioneer Award which is awar ded by the University of Denver to a senior who demonstrates strong academic performance, leadership, community service, campus involvement, strong character and pride in the University.†Lisa M.
